Home & Vintage Living back in March '2012' 

 

'I first started H&V by running small creative monthly workshops & Country Home & Interior events locally in the village of Grayswood nr Haslemere.

I Invited other small businesses to join me to showcase their collections in pop up style events throughout the seasons & it quickly became a regular & popular platform for sellers & shoppers alike'.

I worked at the time as a visual merchandiser for a beautiful store in town & juggled my little business on the side, it was hard work but i loved it so the highs outweighed the lows.

​In '2020' Lockdown came when all events were pulled & i got made redundant when the store its closed its doors, it was a sad time as i loved my job but decided to take my little business online & this is when 'Home & Vintage Living' was officially launched.

 

I started selling beautiful country home interiors, vintage finds, textiles & my hand crafted gifts & doing occasional home pop ups inviting shoppers to come & shop in the studio, making it a very unique & special shopping experience for shoppers wanting something a little bit special, whilst enjoying tea & cake whilst they shopped (a bit like the fairs really).

Fast forward to now being our 11th year, I have watched the brand grow organically, with a few tweaks along the way to keep it exciting & fresh, but never compromised no matter what & as they say 'the rest is history'.

​

H&V has become a very special brand to many of us & one that only curates the finest & loveliest of people together, but also gives you that friendly hug when you visit online or in presence & as a founder i'm so proud of our little acorn that is growing daily with the help from many lovely friends & colleagues met along the way.
